112 years later, inspired Draggin founder Grant Mackintosh revolutionised the freedom of riding by engineering the world’s first pair of protective motorcycle jeans. His desire was to create the safest motorcycle clothing possible. He succeeded, reinventing protective clothing and engineering the most technically advanced motorcycle jeans in the world.
Like many inventions, Draggin Jeans seems simple. Yet as an engineering feat it remains unchallenged. Even 20 years later.
Using accepted EN 13595 (CE) standard testing methods we test our jeans against the best on the market. Our jeans with RooMoto MR7+ last over 7.46 seconds in abrasion testing.
We keep on testing to prove Draggins. Last year alone we tested our abrasion resistance 150 times to prove our superior performance. In independent testing by Deakin University in 2017, Roomoto MR7+ lasted more than twice as long as the next best riding jean tested.
What this means is that Draggins achieve a 300% reduction in the risk of a soft tissue injury in an accident. Nothing works like Draggins.
We didn't just create a new category, we outperformed it and we've changed the face of motorcycle-ware forever. We may not be the only gear for the ride. But we are the only one to hit the road in. That's the Draggin way forward.
